Description:
This model consists of two sets of gears where each pair has 36 and 96 teeth respectively. One pinion drives the other such that the two spur gears rotate in opposite directions with equal rotational speeds. The cylindrical boss on the large gear allows the user to fix this gear (using model H-1) and have the planet gears rotate on the outside. See models G-2 and G-3 for further discussion about planetary gear trains.
