Description:
Friction wheel mechanisms transmit motion and torque between two axes through friction contact between the two wheels. This friction wheel mechanism is similar to Model W-4 except it uses many more (8-9) grooves but with smaller penetration between the wheels. This mechanism also uses a weighted lever to enhance the contact force between the wheels.
