Model: UK014 Spatial Four-bar Linkage (right)
- imagemovie

This is a nonplanar mechanism. Imagine the four bar linkage on the surface of a sphere with all the rotary axes intersecting at the center of the sphere. The making of the four circular shaped links is a remarkable feat of 19th century machining. This linkage was called a 'conic quadric crank chain'.
The model is obviously not made at the workshop of the Polytechnic School at Karlsruhe and seems to be the Reuleaux model C03.
