Model: UK003 Double Slider-crank Mechanism with Circular Guideway (left)
- imagemovie

A double slider linkage contains two prismatic joints. In this model one of the slider constraints is a circular arc. The other sliding constraint is straight. Reuleaux showed in his Kinematics of Machinery that this mechanism can be viewed as a topological extension of the single slider-crank if the circular arc constraint were completed in a full circle.
This model is obviously not made at the workshop of the Polytechnic School at Karlsruhe and seems to be the Reuleaux-Voigt model D07.
