Model: D01 Slider-Crank Linkage With Variable Angle Slider
- imagemovie
Differs from the slider-crank mechanism of model C-2 in that the slider link guideway can be rotated to different fixed angles. Circular motion of the crank will produce oscilating motion of the slider in its guideway. As discussed in the abstract of C-2, the slider-crank is one of the most widely used mechanisms in the world due to its use in most of the internal combustion engines in the form of a crankshaft, piston-cylinder and connecting rod.
