Model: S07 Approximate Four-Bar, Ellipse Linkage of the Third Kind
This is a special four-bar linkage for which one point on the coupler link traces an approximate straight-line motion. This model is similar to Watt's four-bar mechanism shown in Model S-24. Two of the links on the right are fixed to the grounded link and turn in circular motion while an extention of the coupler link on the left moves the crank and slider links.
