Model: O04 Planetary Gear with Slider Crank
This mechanism is similar to Model O3. A slider-crank kinematic chain is connected to a planetary gear chain. The position of the slider link on the gear wheel is adjustible. Reuleaux refers to a steering gear application by Caird and Robertson in 1869, (Genie Industriel, 1869, Vol xxxvii, p 29),
