Biographies

KMODDL contains a wealth of information on historical figures associated with the evolution and theory of machines and the field of kinematics. Many of the sketches contain numerous links to material posted elsewhere on the Web. When a certain name is associated with a particular mechanism, the biographical sketch is linked from the relevant model page (under “resources”). You can also browse the biographies by selecting the “people” link from the right sidebar on the KMODDL homepage, or search by name.
